Christian Stronghold Mural Together We Shine!

Initiated by the Christian Stronghold Baptist Church, Together We Shine, is a collaboration with Blankenburg Elementary School and Spiral Q Puppet Theater—which runs an after-school program at Blankenburg.

The mural design, created by artist Gabe Tiberino, centers around the Peoplehood Parade—an annual Spiral Q tradition that convenes activists, neighbors, and youth each Fall to build Peoplehood’ s giant puppets and banners. The parade includes performances celebrating Philly’ s justice movements and nurturing community connections. The mural is located at 4701 Lancaster Avenue and will be dedicated in April 2025.
